Pennsylvania Backyard Wedding Album Design for Tori Kelner Photography

Album Designs
Well, Tori Kelner did it again! She knocked this wedding out of the park and we were so blessed to get to work with her to design this fun album for her super-fun clients!

From Tori:

"Fun design fact: One of the only design changes they requested was to add a sweet candid photo of the bride and her brother hugging! I loved knowing we created an almost flawless design within the first round (such a testament to Align's amazing process and work!) and that they value those candid, storytelling moments throughout the day!"

Tori is a New Jersey based wedding photographer who we have had the pleasure of working with for 5 years now. She is also one of our beloved Client Advocates, and you should definitely take a moment to click through to watch a short video where she shares how she is able to get albums to her clients within weeks of the wedding!

Romantic Virginia Wedding Album Design for Abby Grace

Album Designs
DC-based photographer Abby Grace has recently retired from wedding photography and transitioned into brand photography. We are wrapping up the last few wedding designs of her career and it is so bittersweet! We have loved working with her and her beautiful timeless imagery for nearly a decade. We are so thrilled for her that she is KILLING it in the brand space but we will miss the process of laying out her beautiful images to tell a story in an album. We are savoring these last few designs like the last few bites of pumpkin pie after Thanksgiving! haha!

We always customize our designs to our clients' preferences and here are some of Abby's:

1. Likes "extra thin" spacing
2. Simple designs -- fewer images per spread
3. Does not like images to bleed to the edge of the page
4. Prefers ample white space
5. Prefers fewer layouts that cross the gutter. A couple per album is fine.

Here is the result of these guidelines! This design turned out SO timeless and stunning! Here are a few of our favorite spreads:

Thank you, Abby! It's been such an honor being a part of your team for all these years!

Southern California Wedding Album Design for Everyday Forever Photography

Album Designs
Ernie & Fiona are a husband/wife photography team out of southern California. We have designed over 50 albums for them in the past three years and it's always a treat to work with them. They do a great job capturing both the location and the fun of a wedding day. You can tell that they have so much fun with their clients -- that definitely shines through in their images!

This particular design really showcases the Southern California landscape. Here are a few of our favorite spreads:

White Chapel Michigan Wedding Album design for Jean Smith Photography

Album Designs
We don't play favorites, but if we DID, Michigan-based wedding photographer Jean Smith would definitely be on our short-list. We have had the honor of working with her for nearly a decade on 147 album designs and counting and she consistently stuns us with her creative work and eye AGAIN and AGAIN.

Jean is one of our beloved Client Advocates and if you click here, you can watch a short video of her sharing two mistakes she regrets making when she started her business. She is definitely one to learn from!

One thing to brag on with this design -- we turned it around for Jean and her clients in 2 DAYS FLAT!! That's from order form submission to delivery of final design files. And there was one round of revisions by the client in there. SUPER FAST!!

Ok, now on to all the pretty stuff....Here are a few of our favorite spreads from this gorgeous design:

South Carolina Spring Wedding Album design for Britt Croft Photography

Album Designs

Over the past 8 years we have designed close to 40 album designs for South Carolina based wedding photographer Britt Croft. She is SO talented! You can see more of her designs we've featured over the years here! Britt prefers cleaner spreads with fewer images and tends to lean towards a "filmstrip" layout preference - where there is white space around the images, especially the top and bottom, to let the images breathe a bit and tell a story.

Like so many of the weddings we are featuring here on the blog of late, the wedding in this album was impacted by COVID. The couple was scheduled to get married in May of 2020 and ended up pushing their LARGE celebration back by one full year yet moving forward with an elopement on their original wedding date. We are so glad we were able to be a part of creating this album to tell the story of their marriage celebration and the resulting Madera album that is pictured throughout this post!

A huge thanks to Britt for sending us some photos of the printed album! We love how it turned out! Here are a few of our favorite spreads from this showcase-worthy design:
