Today's featured album design is one we did for Maryland wedding photographer Anna Lowe who we have had the pleasure of working with for over 5 years now! Anna has a beautiful eye for photography and we are always drawn to her images that utilize clean compositions and magnify the connection between her subjects. 
 
This album is only 10 spreads long -- our minimum -- but I think it's a great example of how you can use a small number of spreads very strategically to communicate the story beautifully. It can be tempting when working with fewer spreads to try to cram a bunch of images in, but Anna embraces the purpose of white space in design and as you will see, that along with the smaller image count per spread really allows her images to shine!

We have had the supreme pleasure of working with talented and cool-to-boot Baltimore-based photographer Anna Lowe for 4 years now. Her images always inspire and so many of the designs we've done for her have ended up being featured here on our blog. 
 
Well, add this chic album to the list! We LOVE how it turned out! This design ended up being 25 spreads. We tend to love designing albums that are over 20 spreads because it really gives room to do a wedding story justice. The images are able to be spread out rather than crammed in and they have room to breathe. Anna always provides us with black and white AND color image options which adds interest to the design. We LOVE color images, but black and white images often add a more intimate, timeless, and dramatic touch to album designs when they are used thoughtfully.

You guys!!! This sample album that we created for Maryland based wedding photographer Anna Lowe is TO DIE FOR!! It is SO GOOD! Not only did we design this album, but we also printed it! It is an 8x8 Align Legacy Book covered in our Parchment Linen.  
 
And get this -- after Anna shared this sample album on her Instagram stories, the client feature in it got in touch and asked to order one for themselves!! Wow! That is such a testimony to the power of a sample album! Having a stunning sample is the #1 key to selling albums! And Anna was SO SMART to share this beauty all over her social media accounts! When you share your passion for albums and show them off, clients see them and want one for themselves! Selling albums is really that simple -- share your passion for them, and show them off!

Anne Lowe's photography is as fresh and fun as her head of curls and her energetic personality! We love her vibe and have enjoyed designing for her and her clients for over 3 years and counting.  
 
Today's featured design shows off Anna's creativity and ability to capture emotion as well as show off a location in its best light. There's so much to love about this design! This wedding in the woods of Maryland looks like it would have been so much fun to attend!

Maryland-based Anna Lowe has a deeply held belief that white space is essential to good design. She asks that we limit the number of images to 4 per spread with the exception of family formals and reception spreads. And... we ADORE the result! We pretty much want to plaster her work all over our website, blog and social media. She is incredibly talented as you will see from the story-telling in her images below! 
 
This Navy Yard wedding was so classy. From the lace-trimmed gown, to the shimmery gold dresses, to the serene church ceremony -- it's all so beautiful!! 
 
And don't you agree that the white space and simplicity of the spreads elevates her images even more?
