Simplify Options for your client

There are an endless number of album companies out there. And each company seems to offer endless numbers of choices for size, type and cover options for their albums. As photographers, it's our job to simplify the options for our clients. Clients don't need to know every option available. If they do, they will be paralyzed by indecision. The best thing to do is to research the options yourself and offer your clients your favorite one or two options.
Not only am I the founder of Align, but I have my own photography business -- Melissa Jill Photography. I offer my clients one album option from Graphi Studio -- it comes in one size, with one cover type and with a standard number of spreads that they can later upgrade -- and one option from Queensberry -- again in one size with a standard number of spreads and the client can pick the cover material. I've found it SO successful to simplify options for my clients so they do not have to overcome unnecessary obstacles to the sale.
Simplifying options for your clients when it comes to the album process is definitely the way to provide an enjoyable experience for your clients and a streamlined workflow for your studio.
