Notre Dame Wedding Album design for Erika Aileen
The couple featured in today's wedding album design met at Notre Dame, got married at Notre Dame, and ordered navy and gold albums. Haha -- too perfect! The bride also wore her mother's wedding dress that was made by her grandmother. Three generations were involved in her wedding dress -- what a beautiful nod to legacy and love!
Indiana-based wedding photographer Erika Aileen captured this wedding day perfectly and we are SO excited to show off the finished product to you! Erika prefers really simple designs with fewer images per page (with the exception of the reception!) and plenty of white space to set them off. We design for all preferences, but if we were to pick favorites, this would be our preferred design style every time. It just really allows your very best images to shine!

Pennsylvania Farm Wedding Album Design for Katelyn James Photography
You wouldn't know it from the photos in today's featured wedding album design, but it poured rain on and off all day! But Virginia-based wedding photographer and educator Katelyn James is the ultimate pro, and she was quick on her feet with a solution! When the rain looked like it was going to set in, she quickly suggested the couple do a first look, then she got them under a tree, then back out when there was a break in the rain. And she worked FAST. You have to see how this design turned out!
Katelyn is a long-time client and friend of ours. We have had the pleasure of designing over 120 albums for her and her clients in the 9 years we have worked with her and she is one of our beloved Client Advocates. Katelyn has single-handedly sent us more photographers than anyone else through her photographer education and resources and kind recommendations and we are SO GRATEFUL FOR HER!!
When prepping for this post, she shared, "We absolutely love working with Align! The design process is SO efficient and so professionally done we cannot say enough great things about using Align as our album company."

High School Senior Album Design for Pleasant Vonnoh
Most of the albums we design are wedding albums. But we also do a fair amount of albums for other occasions including: engagement shoots, high school seniors, family portraits, newborns, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, and personal travels.
Today's featured album design is for high school senior portrait photographer Pleasant Vonnoh who is based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. We've been designing albums for Pleasant and her clients for 5 years now, and we adore her work and approach!
Pleasant recently shared this with us:
"Almost all of my clients purchase an album so I love using Align for the design process. It makes my life so much easier. I try to shoot a variety of outfits, locations, and expressions/poses to ensure that the album will be fun and exciting to flip through, instead of feeling like you are looking at the same photo on each page."
That's absolutely what stood out to us about her images throughout this design and why we think it turned out so well! All of the variety in outfits, locations and poses really make this senior album a stand-out! We love to keep each spread cohesive by grouping images taken with the same outfit and location, but as you flip through the design, there is something new and fun on each page. And clearly Pleasant has an amazing talent for putting her clients at ease and getting their personalities to shine through!
Pleasant was kind enough to send us an image of the finished printed album (above). This is a ProDPI 11x14 album with their single fusion cover. Stunning!

Cincinnati Cathedral Wedding Album design for Annie Ryan Photography
The incredible wedding in today's featured design was photographed by Kelsey of Annie Ryan Photography! Kelsey is Annie Ryan's talented associate photographer and we are super-impressed with her work! The consistent editing style that Annie Ryan puts out is really beautiful as well! This is the couple's wedding album design but we also had the opportunity to design two different parent albums for this wedding as well! Oftentimes parent albums end up being the same design as the couple's album but in this case, we used two distinct sets of images for each of the parents' designs -- each focusing more on their child.
