Random fact about me (Denise, Align's General Manager): Although I'm in the creative industry, the majority of my close friends are engineers or are in other STEM fields. I'm even married to a math professor! So it felt like my worlds were colliding (in the best way!) when I flipped through today's featured album design. The photography by Caroline Logan is absolutely stunning and makes my creative heart leap for joy. And the wedding featured within its pages contained a ton of math jokes and scientific touches! You HAVE to flip through the whole design at the bottom of this post in order to catch all the awesome personalized details of this event.

Each week we feature one of our favorite album designs on this blog. Sometimes we share using the flattened JPGs of the final layouts and sometimes we get the bonus privilege of sharing photos of the actual album sent to us by the photographer. But for today's featured design, Robin K (a wedding and family photographer based in Alberta, Canada) has gone above and beyond by sending us photos of her clients OPENING their album!! This makes my heart swell! It's so special to be reminded that our designs can end up as a couple's first family heirloom. 
 
This album design contains Robin's beautiful photos of a sweet Whitecourt, Alberta wedding with a gray and orange theme. The following photos are of a 12x12 Dekora album. Thanks for sending us these photographs, Robin! You rock!

Oh, que c'est beau! We're SO giddy about showing off this album design that features photos from a destination wedding that Katelyn James shot in France! Even after designing Katelyn's albums for almost 5 years now (wow! time flies!), we still get heart-eyes every time we work with her gorgeous images. And this French destination wedding exemplifies so much of what we love about Katelyn's photography style -- glowy light, creamy skin tones, beautiful composition, and overall romance. We hope you love this album design as much as we do!  
 
P.S. My own French vocabulary is mostly limited to lines from Beauty and the Beast, so shoutout to Google Translate and to our francophone friend Abby Grace for confirming that the opening exclamation of this blog post indeed meant "Oh how beautiful"! ;)

Get ready for the joy coming your way! Today we're sharing a sweet Alabama plantation wedding album design we created for Erin Lindsey Images. Erin captured so much emotion in her photographs and the event looked stunning! 
 
Erin is a destination wedding photographer based in North Alabama who we feel blessed to have an an Align client. Not only do we love working with her and her beautiful images, but we also love following her on Instagram. I personally enjoy seeing the antics cuteness of her two miniature schnauzers, her reading recommendations, and her periodic kind-hearted giveaways. 
 
Erin also has passion for helping and serving her fellow photographers. She has recently expanded her business to include boutique photo editing and a coaching program for photographers. Plus, she's previously written a guest post on our blog called How Erin Lindsey Transformed Her Client Experience. So if you want to see more of Erin's beautiful albums and learn from her, check that post out.

It's an Abby Grace Day here on our blog! Abby is a talented wedding and anniversary photographer based out of Washington D.C. Check out her Align Client Advocate page to view some of her past album designs and learn about her album design process. This album design we're featuring today showcases Abby's photos of a exquisite Alexandria, VA wedding. We love all the classic touches, the cherry blossoms, and the excitement written on everyone's faces! 
 
Last summer we featured one of Abby's album designs while she was in the midst of hosting a photography workshop IN FRANCE and we were soaking in all the eye candy from it on Instagram. Now she's opening up registration for round two of The Signature Atelier, and we're looking forward to living vicariously through the attendees photos again this July!
