Today's featured album design is a STUNNER! Gaby Caskey is one of our favorite Texas-based clients who seems to hit every wedding out of the park! Gaby had us pre-design this album for her clients with more spreads than they ordered, and ended up up-selling the album by 2 spreads. Then, because she loved how it turned out, she ordered herself a sample album as well! This beautiful album was printed by Miller's Lab and Gaby was so kind to photograph it for us. She did such a beautiful job! 
 
This bride was super-hands on with the details for her wedding day. She designs and printed all of the paper goods and signage for the wedding day herself. We love how all the neutral details from this wedding came together to give it such an elegant vibe!

Hailey Williams of Archer Inspired is a southern California based photographer with a fresh and authentic style and a super-fun sense of humor. We've enjoyed working with her for over two years now. And we're excited to feature one of her designs for the first time today! 
 
This wedding looks like it was SO fun! The crazy bridal party, beautiful light, and JOY that fills these images encouraged us in the midst of a tough year last year! 
 
We've noted a few of Hailey's design preferences on her profile that we always reference when designing for her. She likes clean design but would rather fill most of the spread rather than having excessive white space. Happy to oblige! We love the resulting design!

The love story of this couple is too good not to share.  
 
Robbie, a fireman, rescued a blind and deaf golden retriever from a frozen pond. Maddie, a local journalist, reported the story. Now they are married and own a dalmation named "Hal the Dal".  
 
But the story gets even better. Jessica Rodgers, their talented photographer, met Maddie a few years before she shot her wedding when they showed up to a fundraising Masquerade Ball wearing the same gown but in different colors. They said hello and took a picture together because they thought 'what are the chances of this happening'!? The next time they spoke and actually "met" was a little over a year later when they met up for their wedding inquiry chat at a local venue, and they realized who each other was...the girl with the matching gown! 
 
Aww...so many kismet moments.

We have had the honor of working with Wisconsin-based photographer Lisa Mathewson since 2014! So crazy -- 7 years! And her work just keeps getting better and better! We were completely drawn into the story of this wedding told through the pages of this design. The color-story, the classic/vintage vibe, the timeless quality it exudes. Lisa hit this one out of the park and we are so excited to share it with you today! 
 
We only mix black and white and color images on spreads when the photographer indicates on their order form that they are ok with this, as Lisa did for this album. I believe the resulting design here is a great example of how mixing the two can be really artfully done. That's one of the things that gives this design such a timeless feel! 
 
One final note on this album -- we were so touched to learn that this album was a gift for the bride from her parents. So sweet!
