Kristen is a wedding photographer based in Virginia & Washington D.C. with an amazing talent for capturing the love and connection between her clients. It's so much fun to design with her lovely images!

The wedding contained in this album took place at a historic Virginia horse farm, which provided a beautiful backdrop for the romantic details. We're so grateful that Kristen sent us the following photographs of her finished 10x10 Align Legacy Book! This album has a Carob colored leather cover with blind/clear debossing. The interior contains 19 spreads of our thick-page paper.

It's no secret that we love parent albums! We've shared more than one blog post about how and why we think photographers should offer parent albums. So we always get a thrill out of seeing a finished, printed album along with its parent albums! 
 
This Align Legacy Book features a beautiful wedding photographed by Align founder Melissa Jill. Melissa is a wedding & portrait photographer based in Arizona, and we have so much fun working with her as a client! Melissa shared the following photographs of the finished 10x10 Align Legacy Book with a Tweed colored leather cover, and two 8x8 parent albums covered in Metropolitan and Silhouette colored linen.

We're so excited to share a new Align Legacy Book today!! 
 
This Align Legacy Book features a Texas ranch wedding photographed by the talented Paige Vaughn. Paige is an Austin-based photographer with a candid photography style and a cheerful, heartfelt attitude. We always love working with her and her gorgeous images! 
 
Paige shared some insight into how she keeps her album process streamlined:

"I find it helpful to cull, edit and produce the full gallery for a client, then go through the gallery and flag "selects" to be used on the blog and their initial album design. That way I don't have to go through the gallery over and over again (which can be inefficient). I also pre-design albums for my clients, instead of waiting for them to choose their favorites -- we all know it can take clients weeks or months to choose images! Pre-designing reduces the time between designing and printing, which frees up my time to do other things! 
 
Album design can be a very time consuming process. While I love everything in my business to have a personal touch, it's SO nice to just choose the photos to be included, and then let the experts at Align create a design that tells the story best. I used to find myself getting so caught up in the details! It's so helpful to have someone removed from the wedding create an album design that's concise, beautiful and a true keepsake. I do handle the communication between my clients and Align, but it's nice to know if I ever wanted my Align designer to handle the back and forth, they could do that, too."

In the two years since we've been offering physical albums to our design clients, Align Legacy Books have found their way into hundreds of homes. These books are truly heirlooms, and we're so proud of them! That's why we're always grateful for the feedback about Align Legacy Books that we receive from our clients. One of the comments that we have heard is that you want more variety in cover text -- both fonts and finishes. We're so excited to show you the result!

Above left: Cardo font on Parchment linen. Above right: Adelicia font on Eight Ball leather. 
 
Font Options 
 
We have always offered a sans serif font that we find elegant and readable. We're not taking that away, but we ARE offering several additional fonts, so that you can choose the one that best suits your clients' style! Along with a dignified serif font, we've also added 3 script fonts that all have their own unique flair!

Above left: Euphoria font on Silhouette linen. Above right: Allura font on Yukon leather.  
 
Finish Options 
 
Along with the traditional blind (clear) debossing, we've added three new metallic finishes. Choose from Rose Gold, Gold, Silver. These colors are elegant and on-trend, and your clients will love them! And if you prefer not to add a color to the text, choose Clear for the classic blind debossing look!

With more fonts to choose from, we wanted to make your decision as easy as possible! So we have created a Font Previewer to let you try them out. Today we have such a special album to share with you! Not only is it an Align Legacy Book (which always makes us happy), but it was also our first design ever for Anna Lowe Photography. Anna is a Maryland-based wedding & portrait photographer with an artistic eye and a talent for capturing real, emotional moments. She shared some comments about the album design process that touched our hearts!

"Maryana & David were sooo grateful for all of their photos, but seeing them in print, well that is a whole other experience!  
 
We worked with Align designer, Andrea, and she made our vision come to life! I am a designer myself, so it was nice to have someone I trusted working on this. It took maybe two days to get the first design back, and I kid you not, I had almost no revisions. Once I sent it to Maryana, I received a text saying "I keep looking at the proof but can't find anything wrong! I LOVE IT!" Made my heart melt.  
 
It was an incredible first experience with Align. I have already told so many photographer friends about it. :) I already have a second album being printed, and am about to submit another!"
