Warning: that album design might cause baby fever.

And here's what she has to say about outsourcing her album designs to Align....
As a Los Angeles Wedding photographer in a highly competitive market I knew I needed to take steps to set me apart from other professional photographers in my area. Speed has always been an important part of my workflow and by putting a large sneak peek (150+ images) on my blog within days of my client's weddings I had definitely attained my goal. But when I introduced albums into my Collections I slowed down.. wayyyy down. I don't enjoy album design at all. Designing a 30 page album would take me weeks and fill my work days with dread!
Then I found Align Album Design. By sending Align my blog sneak peek images days after the wedding, not only was I able to deliver all of my client's wedding images within 7 days, but their album design as well. The entire process from shooting a wedding to final album delivery now takes about a month. During my crazy wedding season, that is invaluable! I'm able to spend more time doing what I love - spoiling my clients, spending time with my husband - and less time sitting in front of a computer feeling like my eyes were falling out of my head.

One of the tips I have for other photographers is to select the images for the the first album draft yourself. I've found that by sending Align the images I've already selected for my blog sneak peek, I eliminate the client's tough job of trying to select 75-100 images. They're so emotionally attached to each image that it wasn't uncommon in the beginning for me to receive too many photos on their "must have" list or an uneven ratio of photos (50 preparation photos but only 3 reception detail photos). So by telling my clients the story of their day as I see it, it saves a TON of time for everyone involved.
Another strategy that has enhanced my Align Album Design experience is to always request the same designer - I just write her name in the notes section of my order form! Align keeps my personal design preferences on file so that any designer I work with will know my style, but because I now work with Andrea for every order, that girl knows what I want even when I don't and has been such a blessing to my business!
Thanks, Align! xoxo Becca

Thanks for sharing your story and advice, Becca! We love helping you achieve your speedy turnaround goals!
We recently designed an album for Becca which tells her client's beautiful story -- from pregnancy, to birth, to baby! Becca was kind enough to send us photos of the printed album she received from Nations Photo Lab. We LOVE seeing the final product!

The album starts with some gorgeous maternity photos...
...continues with the love-filled hospital birth story...
...and concludes with the newborn baby photos.
FYI, there are SO many more gorgeous and emotional images in the full design. Be sure to flip through it below!
